Alfa Romeo 1300 Spider Junior Early June 1968-70 Round-tail .

The Alfa Romeo 1300 Spider Junior was launched in early June 1968 aimed for the Italian market. UK imports ceased Oct 69

1. Headlamps uncowled and set back as on the US versions of the Duetto.
2. Front side indicators moved forward of the front wheels
3. Rear side indicators (new)
4. Lower front bumpers painted black
5. Fixed quarter-lights
6. Hubcaps were same as early 1300GT Junior
7. 15in wheels and 155 tyres standard, 14in and 165 tyres optional
8. Bootlid badge
9. No door mirror
10. Steering wheel (two-spoke)
11. Ashtray with no cigar lighter
12. Seats (with no tilt knob)
13. Rev counter red-lined at 5750rpm (rather than 6300rpm)
14. Door strike plate/catch is different in 1970 brochure (v 1968 1750 brochure)
15. Engine - basically same as GT Junior
16. Choice of
    Dellorto DHLA40
    Solex C40 DDH-4
    Weber 40DCOE-28 carbs + different choice of air cleaner/filter
17. Single-plate hydraulic clutch
18. Dual-circuit servo-assisted braking system (from Jan 1969)
19. Please note that 1300 w/Kamm tail 1970 on retains old door handles + painted dash
20. It also has 1300 badging on the boot to distinguish from 1750 model - see under Italian Cars
