| This is the Castello del Monte
in Puglia. www.casteldelmonte.it. It
was built 1240 by Fredrik II. Eight towers in a cirkel on top of the
hill. Perfect view from the top. |
The landscape in Puglia was
very abandoned, very nice roads on top of that. What could be better. |

Stina is waiting outside a
"Cantoniera". We found this spot in the middle of Foresta
Umbra. The dark wood. It was very deserted too. But a wonderful place to
be driving in. |

A very good restaurant in
Vieste, Punto 19. We had lovely and very tasty meals there. Frutti di
mare. The rings at the bottom are "scaldatidd" as they say in
Puglia. |

Gargano and Vieste, we drove to Rome. On the way we spent some time in
